The EPSFA was formed to educate, enhance and protect the sport fishing in Pennsylvania, especially in Lake Erie, Presque Isle Bay and its tributaries.

The trout challenge is this weekend Sunday April 21st all interested parties must have their entry form submitted by 4:30 PM at Alex Roofing or in the PO Box.

Our guest speaker for April will be Chuck Murray the local fish biologist. He is always full of data and very good information. His power point presentations are always top notch this isn't one you want to miss.

Our annual kids fishing day is fast approaching us, please dont forget its saturday May 25th at Presque Isle Park. The EPSFA cordinates the event with help from DCNR, S.O.N.S of Lake Erie, as well as many sponsors help make the event a great experience for the kids. They are the future and we like to do what we can to get them involved in this great sport. Stay tuned to our website for more info, our flyer will be released shortly and we will begin accepting sign ups.

We would also like to congratulate our president Pete Alex on accepting his governor appointed position with the Great Lakes Fishery Commission as the Pennsylvania advisor. He was nominated by the PFBC to the governor for this position. Its great to have another voice to work closely with PFBC on future projects.

The PFBC is accepting the Lake Erie Net Permits application now. Permits can not be issued until the regulatory change has been published in the PA bulletin. Tentative publication is early April and the permit will be mailed out to you at that time.

The EPSFA monthly meetings will be the last Wednesday of every month \Restaurant 1317 State Street; Erie, PA. Directors meetings at 5pm. The general public may attend meetings again between the months of January thru May of 2013 with guest speakers in attendence.
The EPSFA (Erie, PA Sport Fishing Association) will be taking on issues that effect the fishing in Pennsylvania, on Lake Erie, and around the Presque Isle Bay head on and taking the time to make sure the avid fishermen\\'s voice is heard to improve the sport of fishing.
